It’s all about perspective. 👁️

Featured in our upcoming exhibition, Forced Perspective, “Woman on a Ferry” by Lou Vest plays with the relationship between subject, space, and the way we perceive what’s in front of us.

“Forced Perspective is an artistic technique that manipulates the perceived relationship between the camera and its subject, creating the illusion that figures or objects appear closer, farther away, larger, or smaller than they are in reality.”

How do we see ourselves, and how does art shape the way we see others?

This fall, Spring Street Studios presents Forced Perspective, curated by Mia Flores. Through diverse interpretations of the human figure, identity, emotion, and the spaces we occupy, the exhibition explores how perspective can shift the way we understand the human experience.

Join us for the Artists’ Reception and experience the exhibition throughout Spring Street Studios.
