McMurtrey Gallery Houston Art Gallery - Now Closed McMurtrey Gallery closed October 31 2015. So, after much consideration, I will close the gallery at the end of October 2015.

Dear Friends of McMurtrey Gallery,

For 35 years I have had the luxury of doing what I loved and now I am ready to pursue new adventures. It has been my privilege to work with such talented and accomplished artists whom I will miss. I am grateful to the collectors who have supported the gallery over the years, many of whom I now call friends. To my colleagues, my respect for all you have done.

You have one more day to check out Jed Foronda's exhibit before it all comes down tomorrow!

After this Saturday, McMurtrey Gallery will be closed for vacation for the rest of August. We will reopen with regular gallery hours Tuesday, September 1st. See you all then!!
