Patrick Banks is from the New York City bedroom community of Cedar Grove, NJ. Soon after graduating from Rutgers University, Patrick dove into the world of sales and marketing in New York City gaining experience in magazine publishing, travel and tourism. In 1990 Patrick moved to Houston and has lived inside the loop for more than 25 years. He has a broad base of experience in buying, remodeling,

and selling historic properties. Patrick has worked with clients city-wide, but the Heights, Montrose, and Museum District areas have been fertile ground for his expertise in Inner Loop real estate. As a Houston real estate Top Producer from 2010-2015 and a Martha Turner Sotheby's Circle of Excellence recipient, Patrick enjoys leveraging the tools and services of the Sotheby's brand for his clients. Patrick's primary goal is simple to understand his clients' needs and objectives. He takes time to educate all of his clients about the market, presents outstanding options, is hands on in his approach, is available to communicate and most importantly he is a savvy negotiator. Patrick prides himself in the number of repeat and referral clients he has worked with over the years. "No two transactions are alike and each presents different variables. My experience negotiating and closing transactions with more than 200 properties has prepared me to identify, address and resolve the complex issues that arise in connection with real-estate transactions." For newcomers moving to Houston, you can expect a tour of the city from Patrick as well. He knows every point of interest, great restaurants, and interesting facts about many Houston neighborhoods. Gaining confidence and trust from his clients is important, but ultimately Patrick enjoys knowing that his clients also become great friends. Actively involved in the Houston community, Patrick is involved in Historic Preservation Houston. He is on the board of the Avondale Association and the board of the new Avondale Square Park now being created in Montrose. Patrick loves the international diversity that Houston offers. He is involved in InterNations, a social network aimed towards bringing together people from all over the world who share the belief that living internationally makes life a richer experience. Patrick is an avid traveler having visited 50 plus countries. The Visual and Performing arts are some of his favorite past times. He also enjoys the outdoors, hiking, skiing, eating Tex-Mex, Halloween, and staying in touch with family, friends, and clients.
