For this year’s Denver Gem & Mineral Show, the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum displayed 9 incredible historic minerals from the original “Paris Collection” that was showcased at the 1900 Paris Exhibition, where we won the silver medal award. 🥈 The collection was displayed again for the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, Missouri where we took gold! 🥇

The Museum is pleased to have a display at the 2026 Denver Gem and Mineral Show in Westminster, Colorado through September 13. The display features 9 out of 90 specimens that A. E. Seaman acquired to bring to the 1900 Paris Exhibition, where it won a silver medal. They were later also exhibited at the 1901 Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, NY, and at the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, MO in 1904 where the display won a gold medal.
