School is about to begin for another year. Please join us for our Third Thursday discussion on Thursday August 20th, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM to share stories and view articles from past school experiences.
Light refreshments will be served after the materials are put away.
Our Thursday volunteers have a wealth of knowledge from years of researching and recording history and they are wonderful to visit with. We hope to see you there!

This 1930 Chevrolet Fire Truck was purchased by the Town of Hotchkiss in 1930. After sitting idle for over 20 years, Chuck Sheldon asked Rich Kramer if he could make it run again. Rich, with help from Tom Martin, was successful in getting it running and making it drivable. Ralph Sandman ll has been doing restoration work on it. It is a work in progress. The Museum is grateful for our members and all our volunteers who work hard to keep our history alive.
Today we won first place in the vehicle category in the Delta County Fair parade.

Free Admission Days!

To celebrate Colorado's 150th Anniversary, the Hotchkiss Crawford History Museum is offering FREE admission on August 1st!

We are also offering FREE admission during the Delta County Fair. Take a break from the heat and come learn about our local history!
