The purpose of Mid-America Science Museum (MASM) is to explain scientific knowledge and concepts to the public through interactive exhibits, activities, workshops, and educational programs. The Museum seeks to stimulate a lifelong interest in science, spark curiosity, reshape attitudes, and stir the imagination. MASM's goal is to provide informal science education that encourages learning in ways

not ordinarily found in the workplace, classroom, or home. To achieve this purpose, MASM maintains the highest standards in providing quality exhibits, programs and services for the students, citizens and visitors to Arkansas.

Science Saturdays are getting electrifying this September! ⚡🧲

All month long, we’re celebrating the work of Michael Faraday with hands-on activities exploring electricity, magnetism, electromagnetic induction, and electrolysis.

Then on Saturday, Sept. 19, we’ll turn up the voltage with an extra-special celebration ahead of Faraday’s birthday, including our unforgettable Electric Pickle demonstration.

Mid-America Science Museum is a NASA Universe of Learning Host Museum for the upcoming launch of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. 🔭 🚀

If NASA’s launch remains on schedule for Sunday, Aug. 30, we’ll feature special Roman programming, including Messengers of Time in the Digital Dome at 2 and 3 PM, plus launch discussion and follow-up coverage before dome shows the following week.

⚠️ Programming is subject to NASA’s launch schedule.
🎟 Digital Dome shows require an additional ticket beyond general admission.
