This July marks the 50th anniversary of the Pennyroyal Area Museum, and we're about a month out from our birthday BBQ celebration! Throughout the past few months, we've been sifting through the archives, adding special artifacts into our exhibits to celebrate our 50 years of existence.

Keep an eye out for our special 50th logo when you're visiting the museum - items featuring the red clock tower were carefully hand-selected to help tell the story of our community and its history.

YOU'RE INVITED to the Museum's 50th birthday party on Saturday, July 11!

Throughout the half-century of its existence, the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County has made it its mission to share, preserve, and celebrate local history. This year, on our 50th birthday, we invite you to help celebrate the museum!

Join us at the museum for a day of festivities, including a Pioneers barbecue lunch, live Bluegrass music by the Todd County Boys, and a special program featuring Hopkinsville-Christian County Historian William T. Turner! Tickets are $15 per person.

To celebrate our 50th anniversary and our country’s 250th in one special gathering, we invite you to join the 1976 Club or the 1776 Club if you are able.

By joining these clubs, you are showing EXTRA love for the Museum – and getting first dibs on tickets to the party. More information can be found here: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/pennyroyal-area-museum-celebrates-50-years
