I guess this makes me hirable by real design firms?

Abstract wins first place for Excellence in Illustration at the 2015 Pa‘i Awards! Sergio Garzon's incredible "Seed To Cup" image series in Abstract Issue 7 (dedicated to Hot Coffee) brought home top honors, with a great design by Dwayne Pesquira, and written by Karen A. Iwamoto. We're honored to be recognized by the Hawai‘i Publishers Association and in the company of so many amazing local publications!

This morning after the waves I decided to do some drawing and I encounter a beautiful swarm of creatures doing all kinds of little things I've never seen them do. hygiene , playing, flirting, fighting , creative?? I dunno but it was beautiful. Underwater sketching seems to be holding well. Working with the current is still a challenge and the tablet In which I attach the paper needs a handle or something to stabilize it. Well one step at the time.
