Our annual gun raffle is a major source of funds needed to provide fire protection Honesdale and the surrounding area 24 hours a day seven days a week, year-round. Tickets are available from members and from Dirlam Lumber and Heberlings Sport Shop.

It was a week ago today, Thursday March 7, 2019. The temperature was about -5 when Volunteer Firefighters from around the area responded to a structure fire at Bill Pykus and Son Excavating on Route 371 North of Honesdale. Note that none of the photos posted here are early in the fire as hands were busy with the fire. Protection Engine Company No 3 from Honesdale was tasked to supply water to the ladder truck from Callicoon, NY and Texas No 4 Ladder from Honesdale. Water was dumped into three portable ponds by the many tankers working to move the water to the scene of the fire. Engine 3 pumped that water to the ladders.
