This might sound crazy, in the early days of August..but I see fall creeping in..sometimes the woods are quiet..no more wood thrush trilling away..so I yearned for a comforting curry..something to stick to my bones..and this is it..full of deep roasted kabocha squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, eggplant and broccoli..come and get some..and if you have a sweet tooth..well, I just had to make 'the green thing' at least once this summer..pistachio mousse torte..it made me think of Hana Gorman..this too is deeply comforting..and who does not need that now..
