We have a single page, fold-out map of the Village from a while back. There is a front and back. It references the Rabbit Room and CBs to give the age. We are wondering who produced the map. There is no credit line or year printed on it. Thanks.

The Crawling Hand! A classic 1963 movie. Apparently it made its way to Honeoye Falls in the early 1990s.

Can anyone ID these two kids? We have some negatives of a house on East St and these kids must have passed by when the photographer was documenting the house. Thanks.

The The Friends of the Lima Public Library are sponsoring a traveling exhibit, consisting of 14 panels leased from the Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse. The exhibit will be on display in the library from September 8 until October 8. The exhibit is titled: "High Hopes, Immigration & The Erie Canal." It explains the impact the canal had on western expansion and migration, as well the many immigrants who helped to build it.

Derrick Pratt, Deputy Director of the Erie Canal Museum, is scheduled to give a power point presentation titled "Immigration On The Erie Canal" at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 29 at the Lima Public Library, 1872 Genesee Street in Lima.

Our friends at the Rush, New York Historical Society are hosting this event this coming Sunday:

Meet the Spirit of Rush Pine Hill Cemetery! Rush Town Historian Susan Mee will introduce you to Pine Hill's history, and then you'll meet the Spirit of Pine Hill, who will share traditions such as Victorian cemetery picnics and more. This event, held on Sunday, September 13 at 2 pm, is free to the public and hosted by the Rush Historical Society. Location: Pine Hill Cemetery, 1730 Rush-Scottsville Road, Rush, NY 14543. Drive to the Jeffords Burial Section, near Section B, and park along Pine Grove Avenue; please don't block roadways. This event requires some walking, so it is not handicap accessible. Please note: If there is a funeral or inclement weather, this event may be canceled; the Rush Historical Society will post a notice at the gates and on their pages.
