When one door closes, another one opens…

December 30, 2021, this was my very first post & now with a grateful heart, it is my last.

After 3 beautiful years, Laughlin Gallery is making a pivot. As a result, we are closing the doors of our Highland Park location. I’m so grateful for every visit, comment and connection—you helped build something truly special. And that journey continues in its new incarnation. Sundays Art Advisory. If you enjoyed working with me at Laughlin Gallery, nothing will change. Instead of a physical space, we will curate and connect on all things art virtually. It gives you access to the entire world of art, instead of what was just inside the four walls of Laughlin Gallery. This further allows me to focus on what I love. Working directly with people, and providing them art that serves to inspire and beautify their living spaces. Through Sundays you’ll gain access to top art buying talent, a proven process and acquisition ability you can’t get at a typical gallery. Thank you for everything, see you at Sundays

So important to start, that I am filled with so much gratitude for everything the Artists & collectors taught me over these last three years. All the artwork is in great hands and will continue to thrive all over houses & town(s) now.
The beautiful gallery space is now home to + and TBD... 💫
This shift is not sad—it’s full of momentum. LG was in 3 spaces in 3 years!
My favorite part of the gallery journey was the magical beauty and power of collaborating with like-minded people to build something meaningful. And the power of seeing the art always find the right home again& again.
I dove so deep into understanding why galleries often felt intimidating and how to make art more accessible. I am a teacher and a gallerist, but i love teaching more, so please

And another thing,
I could never ever leave Highland Park. This town has my whole heart & is truly the city center of the north shore. We are stronger together so is where you can always find me. I first choose Highland Park for a gallery b/c it’s in the middle of Winnetka+Lake Forest. And, second reason b/c the space looked so Miami from the exterior(now home of ) and third, was walking distance to my friend at who helped convince me over cosmos one night while at to be her biz neighbor. And the rest is history, I will cherish every memory & lesson forever. What a total dream. So much art was sold, it was worth every second!
