We are well and truly jollified until next year this time!
A hearty and merry thanks to all who made this day's events possible - sponsors, PCRA members who helped plan, organize, set up for, and carry out the tour and supper, and our faithful attendees who turned out to enjoy the historic structures and the evening's festivities!
We declare the day a success - especially since there were no storms, no sailing tent poles, and no dropped cakes.

We're ready for Jollification 2026!
Tour tickets still available on site.
Begin your tour at the Newbold White House Visitors Center, where you will receive your ticket and guide booklet. From there you can follow the map provided to tour the sites in whatever order you choose. Directional signs have been placed at key turns, and site number signs are at each location. Home owners will be on-site with family and friends to tell you about each structure. Restroom facilities will be available at The Onley Place.

If you are joining us for supper, be back at the Newbold White House by 5:30, where Uphill will be in full swing, and a delicious meal from Captain Bob's will be served.

A raffle of beautiful gift baskets will held, an array of wonderful cakes will be auctioned live, and a two night get-away in historic Colonial Williamsburg will be auctioned off in a silent auction. All proceeds go to maintain the Newbold White House site and to support the educational programs and other events held throughout the year.

Hertford's oldest home, the beautiful ca. 1775 Creecy-Skinner-Whedbee House is just waiting for you to step through its picket fence gate and take a closer look, as it appears on Saturday's Jollification Tour of Historic Homes.
Notice its unique paired entrance doors, two story "piazza", and newly restored exterior. Step up on the porch and view a display of photos and information on its recent restoration. Though not open this year, owners Jeff and Jackie say a peep through the front windows is okay - but just this Saturday only!
Tickets for Saturday's tour are still available at www.perquimansrestoration.org and Saturday morning at the Newbold White House Visitor's Center, which will open at 10:00 am. Tour begins at noon.

The Onley Place showcases small houses from the 1760s through the 1790s and on into the 19th century, and they will all be open for you to enjoy. Of special note is the Col. Willis Riddick House, ca. 1790, which still sports its original woodwork with original paint finishes. This is a rare survival, and one you can't miss. Join the Jollification Tour of Historic Homes this Saturday and let Steve Casper and friends show you his wonderful collection in Craney Island.
Tickets available at www.perquimansrestoration.org or at the Newbold White House Visitor's Center the morning of the tour.
The Visitor's Center opens at 10:00 am and the tour begins at noon.

Tour tickets are still available, and can be purchased by going to www.perquimansrestoration.org, or coming to the Newbold White House Visitor's Center Saturday after 10:00 am to purchase your tour ticket, pick up your tour guide booklet, and set out on an afternoon visiting history in Perquimans County.
