Today we join communities across the nation in solemn remembrance. We honor the memory of those affected by the events of September 11, 2001 and are especially grateful for the service of the law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical professionals, first responders, and K-9s who answered the call with extraordinary courage. We will never forget.
