Way back in 2017, there was this small handful of people that came together inside of a dusty little Boxx on Cypress Avenue in Hermosa Beach, California. The group consensus at the time was something like, “let’s see if we can reach beyond the limitations of the boundaries of our small community and see what we can attract.” We had something to say, and you know who was standing there fanning the flames, making noise, being a guiding light and a constant voice of encouragement? This guy right here…. !
After got deported, we made the tough decision to let the physical space go. The hardest part of that decision was knowing that this community we had built was going to start missing one another a little more frequently. We believed the fire would keep burning and Paul just proved that it is going to be an ongoing inferno.
The space still exists, only now it’s called .. and if you wanna see proof that the ShockBoxx Family ™️ is still dropping bombs, head on over to and check out Paul’s current solo show.

We love you, dude. Astrid would be proud.
