Hey everyone, we have a new website. Western North Carolina Air Museum is now located at wncam.org . We have lots of new content including historic documents from the beginning of the Hendersonville airport with its founder, Oscar Meyer. We also have pictures from the Hurricane Helene recovery and much more. And better yet, the site is going to keep growing.

The Spirit of St. Louis landed in the museum after its great tour in the Hendersonville parade. It is now part of our General Aviation exhibit.

Steve Lyons and I were invited by the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce to speak about our museum this morning at the Business Morning Update. Here is one of the videos we played. We put the parade pictures to good use at the end.

Our WNCAM staff assembled a float for the Hendersonville 4th of July parade and won 2nd place. They looked cool in thier uniforms even with the hot weather.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend and Docent, Bob Peck, and his wife, Wendy. We first became concerned when Bob missed his scheduled shift at the museum over the weekend. Please keep Bob, Wendy, and their family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time

Scenic Helicopter Tours has notified us that they will be offering rides from our Air Museum at the Airfield from 12-2 this coming Saturday, 5/16/26.
