The Hazleton Art League was happy to host PFNonwovens at the Hayden Family Center for the Arts on Tuesday. It was a team building social that involved delicious mozzarella cheese making and more! Thanks also to Maureen Brown-Fierro for putting this evening together and for PFN’s support of our 4th Annual Color the Course Golf Tournament, Friday, September 25. It was a busy day spent hanging the Hazleton Art League’s end of Summer Art Camp exhibition. Everyone helped, and the end result was proud parents and young artists enjoying beautiful art that they had created. Thanks to the wonderful teachers and aides who made this possible. We’ll see you next year!

The last week of the Hazleton Art League Summer Art Camp is seeing a burst of creativity as we say so long to summer and hello to new adventures. Thanks to Mary Malone and her husband Sean for continuing the tradition of ice cream, courtesy of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce! Friday, August 14 we will have the kids’ art on display from 4-6pm in the gallery of the Hayden Family Center for the Arts. Come check it out!

An interesting and informative artists’ talk took place in the Hayden Family Center for the Arts on Sunday. Curator, Charli Flowers gave a presentation about the “40 Below” group art exhibition at the Hazleton Art League. This exhibition features artists between the ages of 20 and 40 from NEPA. This is the 3rd exhibition by the 40 Below collective, and its first in Hazleton.
