Have you seen the new special issue of Northeastern Naturalist? This issue focuses on the Biology and Conservation of Emydine Turtles, a group that includes Spotted Turtles, Blanding's Turtles, and Wood Turtles among others.

The issue features the results of our region-wide survey efforts for Spotted Turtles in the manuscript titled - Ghosts of the swamp: Challenges associated with surveying for Spotted Turtles (Clemmys guttata) in the southeastern United States. We are excited to see our research published alongside over 40 other articles highlighting this exceptional group of turtles.
