Weather Update! If there is enough snow tomorrow to keep the stairs into the site consistently slick, we will not be able to permit tours into the site, but our interpretive center will be open for viewing artifacts and historical narratives! Our local guide will also be there to answer any questions and give information on the site. Hope for sunshine and dry conditions!

We're reopening Wahkpa Chu'gn Buffalo Jump to the public for ONE DAY ONLY this fall! To celebrate and honor Indigenous People's Day, we will be open on Monday, Oct. 12th from 9am-3pm. Tours will be discounted at $10 per person

Things at Wahkpa Chu'gn are breezy, green, and beautiful! Make sure to visit us by Saturday, as we will be closing for the season (excepting special-event and school tours) after Labor Day! As a reminder, we are open 9-1 Tuesday-Saturday. Give us a call or walk-in!

PUBLIC NOTICE: The H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum board will be holding their next monthly meeting at the museum on Monday, August 10th at 6pm. These meetings are open to the public and public comment.

As a fundraiser for Wahkpa Chu'gn Buffalo Jump and the H. Earl Clack Museum, paleontologist Cary Woodruff has donated his time to walk visitors through the discovery site of one of Havre's coolest (and oldest) residents, Zuul crurivastator!

Tours will be available July 18th and August 8th at 10am with a $25 donation per person. Reach out to us at 406-265-4000 to secure your spot, as spaces are limited!

Thank you to everyone who came out to this morning’s Zuul site tour! And thank you to paleontologist Cary Woodruff for sharing his expertise and great knowledge of the specimen of the hour!
