I posted these pictures a year ago, and looking back, I can’t believe how much my life has changed since then!
I got pregnant, we welcomed our baby boy, I left my full-time job, and my first daughter is now in 1st grade. She also completed her first 5K back when she was in kindergarten! 🏃♀️🤍
I did a 30-painting challenge (30 paintings sounds more realistic, honestly — the 30 days part didn’t quite happen 😂).
I had some wonderful sales, taught classes and masterclasses, and even hosted painting birthday parties. I was so blessed to have a big Christmas painting class with our church community, as well as some smaller Christmas painting parties that I’m very grateful for.
I had several art exhibitions at Crema Coffee Shop, had some great local art markets, and built my own website completely from scratch.
I completed some wonderful commissions, painted my first mural, and created some big chalk drawings — and smaller ones, too!
I’m so grateful for the people and the community who truly admire my art and believe in me. 🤍
And now, I’m mostly working on my social media. I believe my art deserves to be seen. It deserves to be out there.
I’ve finally started taking my art business seriously. And now I’m trying to manage it all while raising a newborn — which sometimes sounds completely unrealistic. 😅
I often hear that art isn’t a “real job,” and that you can treat it more like a hobby.
But I’m pretty sure that’s not true.
And with all my heart, I believe in it. I believe in my art. I believe this is coming.
Soon. Very soon. 🎨🤍
And by the way, this original painting is still available. 🤍🎨
