Following Labor Day, the Swamp Fox Quilters concluded their 26th Annual Quilt Challenge. The coveted People’s Choice Award for the 250th American Revolution Challenge was awarded to Pat Couch for entry #22. Her winning submission was a stunning, all-white whole-cloth quilt featuring intricate, edge-to-edge needlework crafted across a single piece of fabric. Please join us in congratulating Pat!

Today is Constitution Day!

On September 17, 1787, the United States Constitution was signed in Philadelphia. It remains the framework of American civic life, and it is a fitting day to spend a little time with local history.

The Hartsville Museum is open and ready for visitors. Come into the historic 1930s Post Office, look up at the stained-glass skylight, pause at the Herschede grandfather clock just inside the doors, and explore the artifacts and stories of Hartsville, the P*e Dee, and South Carolina.

Admission is always free.
Our hours are Mon–Fri: 10 a.m.–4 p.m & every Saturday: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

October 15–17 & October 22–24
Tours at 7:00 PM & 8:00 PM
Tickets are $25 + tax & fees
Ages 12 and up

Only 25 guests per tour, so space is limited!
