Free Shows For The Public Presented On Saturdays

The John C. Wells Planetarium offers free shows for the public on Saturdays during the academic year (September through to the end of June). Seating will begin 10 minutes before showtime and will be on a first-come, first-seated basis. No tickets nor reservations are required! Navigate to http://www.jmu.edu/

planetarium to find schedule, descriptions and trailers. Each fulldome video is followed by a LIVE 25-minute "star talk" that provides visitors with updates about the night sky, including constellations, planets and any comets that might be visible in our Valley sky! School Groups

Starting off September strong!

Free shows of Magic Treehouse Space Mission & Magnetism every Saturday at 11am, 1pm, 2:15pm, & 3:30pm. Every film is 20-30 minutes, followed by a star talk by one of our staff.

Free movie nights @ 6pm on September 5th & 19th.
