When I decided to have a child, I knew my life would change, but I never imagined just how turbulent the conflicting emotions between my identity as a mother and as a working professional would be. I earned my BA in Fine Arts and built a successful career in IT. Like many women today I never planned to be a stay-at-home mom. I poured my feelings onto canvas as a way of restoring my internal harmon

y and made a commitment to paint one picture every day. The result is 182 paintings that tell the story of my internal struggle and reconciliation of my two identities.
