Scribner's Mill Preservation, Inc. An organization dedicated to preserving the living history of Scribner's Mill. Remains on its original site; 2. Retains much of its original buildings; 3.

Scribner's Mill on the Crooked River in Harrison is the only mid-19th century sash sawmill remaining in North America that: 1. Has its original 1847 mill equipment; and 4. Has the potential to be operated by its original source of water power.

It was a great day at the mill today. The siding on the south end was put on with lots of help. We will have 2 windows to watch the river from inside the mill. Thank you everyone who helped including Chris Bilodeau, Roy Clark, Isaac Seigle, Achille Belanger , Ed Somers and Merrill Rollins.
