Thank you Allison Horrocks for this story!

"Professionally researched, balanced, and evidence-based interpretation should form the bedrock of most public history sites. Without a doubt, the tour I was part of offered a deep and thoughtful interpretation of Brown."

"Holdouts like House of Frankenstein (or the John Brown Wax Museum or the Niagara Wax Museum of History) should be valued not only because they’ve somehow managed to survive, but also for their artistry."

Forty-five years after it opened, Lake George’s first wax museum and haunted attraction still elicits screams and shivers from unsuspecting visitors

It's going to happen! "The trio is called to the meeting place of the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers in the quaint, historic town of Harpers Ferry, W.V., to explore the John Brown Wax Museum after the manager complained of unusual activity that made her fear being in the museum alone."

http://www.broadwayworld.com/baltimore/article/The-Curse-Returns-GHOSTS-OF-SHEPHERDSTOWN-Is-Back-for-a-Second-Season-20170619

In the first season of GHOSTS OF SHEPHERDSTOWN, a surge of 911 calls reporting what appeared to be supernatural activity in Shepherdstown, W.V., inspired Police Chief Michael King to enlist the help of paranormal investigators to figure out why the town had become such a hotbed for hauntings. Ghosts of Shepherdstown shot the dramatization of our ghost encounter today, and I happened to be there working when they did it. It was all very exciting and professionally done -- at least 10 crew members including the director and producer. The actor portraying Ann looked a lot like her! Can't wait to see it if it airs!
