Milwaukee Depot Museum

Milwaukee Depot Museum 501(c)(3) The depot was built in 1908, it was a "Standard Class A Passenger Station", one of several standardized depot plans used by the Milwaukee Road.

The passenger Service was discontinued in 1961, and the depot and yards were abandoned by the Milwaukee in 1980. The depot was restored as a Milwaukee and Railroad museum and is opened to the public for their enjoyment. We are a 501 (c) (3). We accept donations at the depot or can arrange for donations to be made through mail or online (please message us if you have any questions or need help). We appreciate all those that have donated to further the abilities of the museum.

The Harlowton Milwaukee Depot Museum had a great day on September 25 as the MSU Architecture Class visited Harlo to help us explore design ideas and possible placement for the new building we hope to add.

Their insight, creativity, and enthusiasm were wonderful to see, and we’re grateful for their interest in preserving and strengthening our historic site.

Thank you to MSU and these talented students for spending the day with us. Exciting things are ahead for the Depot and our community.

Thank you to our Board members who spent the day to work with the MSU Architecture students. Your presence and guidance were invaluable, and we appreciate your commitment to moving this project forward.
