Martin-Leese Lecture: Open to the Public- FREE ADMISSION!
“The Women of Valley Forge” featuring Diana Loski

In the winter of 1777-1778, the conditions that George Washington’s army endured were dreadful. In February of 1778, Martha Washington would visit her husband in camp and proceed to care for the wounded. She would then implore other women to join her. Diana Loski will speak on what the women of Valley Forge did to help lift the spirits of the soldiers during the revolution.

Special thanks to volunteer John (he's the smiling guy in the orange shirt) for coordinating these, and a few other facility repairs!
