Children's Storybook Garden & Museum We are a children's literature themed botanical garden, event space, and field trip destination

Our Vision: To create a beautiful children’s garden and museum in downtown Hanford easily accessible for all children of Kings County, as well as children and families visiting Hanford. We have a two-three year plan to create a children’s interactive farm museum and a series of eight beautiful and creative gardens of distinction. This grass roots community project will be an inclusive effort to r

ally the community together by helping to make this attraction a reality. We want to include volunteers and contributors from all areas of the Hanford and greater Hanford area, including our local elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and colleges.

Since mid March the Garden has held two sessions of Little Slugger Tball for children 2 to 4 years of age. So many great, enthusiastic kids were part of the program with many super coaches there weekly to assist these young athletes in learning an awesome sport. The next 4 week season will begin in September with a second one in October. Registration will begin in July. Have a great summer everyone 😊

Spring season session #2 has ended. Tuesday was our makeup game. The players were ready to go. Afterwords they received treat bags and a Tball certificate. A huge thank you to all of the Hanford West high school volunteers who assisted with coaching the players and the parents who helped their little ones learn Americas favorite sport ⚾️ Fall league begins in September.

- Valley Sugar Clouds will be having Cotton Candy,
-Jones Cottage will have Sourdough loaves, cookies, and bagels,
-Bella Matthew’s will be offering face painting,
-& Lily’s lemonade will have fresh squeezed lemonade.

Everything else at the garden will be included with your entry fee, for $5, you guys get pony rides, enjoy the animals, hay ride, fruit tastings, honey tasting, butter making, quilting information, wheat grinding, and soooooo much more!

Children’s Storybook Garden is a nonprofit organization and our events help sustain the garden’s daily operations. Thank you all for supporting the garden.
