On August11,2015 Ray set a new record for sawing a chair. Ray sawed a chair in 7.5 seconds which beat the old record of 10 seconds that was set in1988.

On August 13,2015 Ray sawed his 71000th piece of chainsaw art. It was a 5 inch tall bear that was sawed in about 3 minutes and it went to Maryland with a very nice family.

After such a long Summer and fall, I have sawed 69550 sculptures. The post office loves to see me coming to fill mail truck with Christmas present to go all over the country. I have 1 more to go out on Christmas eve and the season is over. I do feel like Santa. Ho Ho Ho.

Chainsaw Ray Murphy Sawed his 67000th piece of Real Chainsaw Art at The Chainsaw Sawyer artist Live Show the other night. It went off to Germany wit Linda and Ann. It was the cutest little owl. Also An got a belt buckle with her name on it sawed with chainsaw.

Anybody know when spring is coming ? I am tired of frozen wood. But it is ideal for sawing ice sculptures. I sawed 3 ice sculptures on Flanders Pond about 19 days ago. Come on Spring! Please!!!!

I am looking forward to doing ice sculpting on Flanders Pond this weekend on Saturday from 9-12. I usual do the ice thing for weddings or competions. This is for something to help Hancock and Mountain View Grammer Schools. It will be fun!!!!

Bill, the mcee on the live show finished his last show of the season tonite. He was a big plus for the show by adding wonderful music to the show. It was nice to have someone dependable as the mcee spot for the season! I have some people coming from London,England for the show this week and possible a large group. Then the show season will be over. With a prking lot full of wood, I will be busy sawing sculptures!!!!!!!

One more day of peeling left to go on 14 cords of white pine logs. It is one of the largest pile of logs I have ever had. I have logs standing on end on most of the parking lot. I have about 7 more cord coming in Nov. This supply should last me for a while. More than a year and at least 1000 sculptures. Ya Who!
