Creating an ever-changing, stimulating environment for the visual arts in Hampton, VA. Originally opened in 1925 as the Charles H. Taylor Arts Center.

Taylor Memorial Library, the Arts Center has been a vibrant and dynamic leader in the Hampton community for many years. The library was closed in 1987 when the City opened the Hampton Public Library right next door. After careful renovation and restoration, the historic building was reopened in January 1989 as The Charles H. The Center hosts a series of changing exhibitions throughout the year alo
