Finger Lakes Wine Museum Founded in 1967, The Finger Lakes W**e Museum is the oldest w**e museum in America and is dedicated to Greyton H. Taylor. The home of the WST Art Gallery.

We house a wide collection of rare bottles, w**e glasses, cooper tools and w**emaking equipment.

Guy Devaux arrived in the Finger Lakes in 1962 to work for Gold Seal in Pulteney, New York. A w**emaker from Epernay France who had worked in many aspects of the Ch*****ne industry including a stint at Moet et Chandon. After Gold Seal, Devaux famously helped found Mumm Napa Valley. He died in 1995 in Fairport, New York and remains one of the Finger Lakes most respected w**emakers.

Coopers erect a 18’ tall and 22’ diameter redwood fermentation vat at Great Western Cellars in 1971. This vat had the capacity to ferment 50,000 gallons of w**e at once. Great Western used to have one of the largest cold storage and fermentation capacities in America.

A big thanks to Christina at the Hammondsport Chamber of Commerce and Doug and Paul Hart for donating this signed Gold Seal bottle to the w**e museum. The bottle was signed by the late great Charles Fournier. Apparently, Mr. Hart used to trade fresh lobsters with Charles for ch*****ne and even got him to sign a few!

New art in the WST Gallery! We are excited to have Rochester artist Franca Cucinella’s marvelous paintings currently gracing our walls. Reception will be held on Friday the 18th from 3-6:30pm at the WST Gallery at Bully Hill. If you cant make the reception we will be open 7 days a week now through Halloween.
