Today (and tomorrow!) is the day to pick up your pumpkin for our Halloween pumpkin decorating contest!

Little seeds, big growth! Our outreach team recently traveled to Mankato with our Farm to Family program, where our class got to plant their very own seeds and learn about the magic of watching something grow!

This morning, we were SO excited to receive pictures from Rock Hills showing little sprouts beginning to grow! There’s something so special about seeing that excitement come to life and watching our little seeds grow right along with our kiddos.

We love helping children connect with where their food comes from, learn through hands-on activities, and discover the joy of growing something of their own!

A big thank-you to Rock Hills for sharing these sweet updates with us! We can’t wait to see how much more these little sprouts grow!

Where in the World is the KLCH van today?!Thanks to the Dane G. Hansen foundation this week alone we have traveled to Tescott, Ellis, and Rockhills! We also had our senior programming on Wednesday at the Halstead Senior center. We are changing lives one health class at a time!

Get creative this fall and join us for our Pumpkin Decorating Contest.

Pumpkin Pick-Up Dates:

October 22: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
October 23: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pick up your pumpkin, decorate it however you like, and return it to the Kansas Learning Center for Health by 3:00 PM on Halloween, October 31.

Age Categories:

5 and under
Ages 6–8
Ages 9–12
Ages 13 and up

It is time to purchase your ticket for our 13th Annual Gala, a special evening dedicated to supporting health education for Kansas children all while enjoying dinner and drinks, silent and live auction, and dueling pianos!

This annual fundraiser helps provide the educational experiences and programs that make learning about health engaging, meaningful, and memorable for children across Kansas.

Tickets are $75 per person or $600 for a table of eight.
