Progress.

The USO exhibit is getting closer to completion every day. Each addition brought to the exhibit only makes it look better. Here at the museum we firmly believe in progress. Projects such as this require a lot of time and hard work. But seeing the enjoyment future visitors will get once they see the exhibit will be worth it. Come on by on opening day, you'll be quite fascinated.

Wall of signs

Here we have a wall specifically for aviation signs that have been used for decades. Each sign shows a small piece of history. One sign is shown using aviation in a cigarette ad in the 1940s or 50s. Another is a joke sign warning about incoming tools from the sky. These signs have a little of bit of humor to them as well. Showing that history can be a learning experience with a few laughs sprinkled in.

Display case Section 5

A series of display cases that show model aircraft. Here we have all types of planes and jets all used by each branch of the military. We have each aircraft labeled so you can see what type is which and decide on a favorite. We also have a display case featuring medals and patches each representing a different military unit. Each aircraft in or on top of the display has or will play an important part in the military. This exhibit is meant to show respect to that.

The Vietnam Conflict

A section of our Vietnam Exhibit, there's much to see in it. First we have a diorama display based on an actual battle fought during the war. Next we have mannequins wearing pilot and army uniforms. This section also includes photos of various aircraft used during the Vietnam War and the men who served as governors of the state during this period. This part of the exhibit might small, but there's so much to learn.

The front desk

Here is where it all starts each day. When visitors arrive we always make sure to give them a proper greeting. Our prices are on display as well and you'll see they're quite fair. Once visitors are finished paying we provide them an introduction of what the museum has to offer. We encourage visitors to take thier time, see everything, and have fun. What's most important to us is that once our visitors leave the museum, they leave with a smile and good memories. Also, for fun we have clocks with the times of different cities around the world. Interesting to picture someone having fun in Europe during the day, while you're just going to sleep.

Drone soccer.

The following video is live coverage of a drone soccer match. Drone soccer is where teams of 5 fly drones that are housed inside a shell sphere. The objective, similar to regular soccer is to fly through the opposing team's goal while they try to block you. Here at the museum, we have a drone soccer net for visitors to play. Originally built for the summer camp, it is now open to all visitors. Come by and play for yourself.

Group trip

We would like to thank the JROTC group for visiting us today. We are also happy to know that they are having a good time. Here at the museum we strive to make sure our visitors are well informed about aviation and have some fun while doing so. Come by and visit, we guarantee you'll have a fun time.
