THE GREENWOOD HISTORICAL SOCIETY WELCOMES YOU TO VISIT THE GREENWOOD DEPOT MUSEUM LOCATED IN THE GREENWOOD VILLAGE PARK. THE GREENWOOD DEPOT MUSEUM IS THE OLDEST RAILROAD MUSEUM IN CASS COUNTY HOUSING A VARIETY OF HISTORICAL ITEMS. THE DEPOT MUSEUM IS OPEN APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER BY APPOINTMENT.

Memorial Day Service
American Legion Post 173 and Phil Hall Unit 173 of American Legion Auxiliary held the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, May 29.
The message was delivered by Rev. Phil Bede, pastor of the United Methodist Church.
The firing squad, commanded by John Grady, consisted of Wayne Howard, Ken Oโ€™Rourke and George Rouse. Virgil Tweton, Maynard Griffith and Dick Lloyd were color guard.
Trisha Claycomb, junior member of the Auxiliary, laid the memorial wreath in honor of those men who gave their lives in service of their country.
