✨ SAVE THE DATE ✨
We are so excited for Found Family: Q***rness and Community in the South, which will be on view in the Furman Thompson Gallery from September 23rd until November 15th! The opening reception will take place on Friday, September 27th at 6:00 pm and we would LOVE to see you there! This event is free and open to the public!
The exhibition is a collaboration with the Q***r Arts Initiative. It showcases the work of 14 LGBTQAI+ identifying artists. The artworks themselves explore and celebrate Q***r experiences! Found Family is the product of Furman student, Alex Aradas’s summer research fellowship with Prof. Kylie Fisher. This show’s existence is important for so many reasons, and we are overjoyed that it is in our space.
Please share these flyers with friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you think would enjoy the show! The first slide is our campus poster and the second is for the community.
