CALL FOR ENTRY: Telling Tales

A single image can have a powerful storytelling impact, change the way we see, and leave a lasting impression. Often, a signature image or motif is associated with an artist or photographer or project. We’re looking for images that stand on their own, able to tell a story without supporting images.

Analog and digital manipulation in all its forms welcome. Monochrome or color, all subjects, analog, digital or antique processes, photographers of all skill levels and locations where legal are welcome.

Monochrome photography, images produced with a single hue, rather than recording the colors of the object that was photographed. The SE Center is looking for all forms of Monochrome imagery, black-and-white and toned photography- all subjects, analog, digital or antique processes, photographers of all skill levels and locations are welcome.

Meet our October Member of the Month, Anne Berry!⁠
⁠
Anne Berry, an Atlanta native, is known for photographs that investigate the animal world, the domain of childhood, and the terrain of the Southern coastal wilderness. The memories, stories and settings of Berry’s Southern upbringing have influenced her work, infusing it with a darkly romantic and southern gothic feeling. A monochrome palette, shallow depth of field and slight aberrations that come from the use of vintage lenses are characteristic traits of this work, which has been exhibited internationally, three times selected as Critical Mass Top 50 Portfolios and is in numerous permanent collections, including The National Gallery of Art.

It’s that time again, the 2026-2027 Members show. Anything goes, all subjects, any photo based imagery. Analog and digital manipulation in all its forms welcome. Monochrome or color, all subjects, analog, digital or antique processes, Member photographers of all skill levels and locations are welcome.
