Katahdin Cruises and the Moosehead Marine Museum invites you to experience history.

All are welcome to browse the museum from 10am - 4pm, Monday thru Saturday. The three hour cruise travels up the lake 12 miles to the widest part of the lake just north of Deer and Sugar Islands, the largest islands on the lake. On a clear day the mountain views are incredible with Mount Katahdin (Maine's largest) in the distance.

What another gorgeous Friday on the Lake! Lots of busyness going on around here....if you're lucky enough to live in the area, as you drive by I'm sure you've noticed the tractors and trucks and burley young men spreading gravel and rocks for the new landscaping that's part of our new dressed up look! The painting on the Kate is coming along nicely especially the outside with these wonderful sunny days. We're ordering new fun items for the Museum's Gift Shop and Ship's Store ~ just wait til you see....

Good chilly morning to you all ~ hope you got to enjoy the beautiful Memorial Day weekend! You'll be seeing fresh landscaping around the Museum as well...
