Regional art museum serving Eastern North Carolina and beyond! The GMoA is the center of the visual arts in Greenville, Pitt County and eastern North Carolina.

The Museum has a permanent art collection of over 800 works of art and hosts a variety of art exhibitions each year. The Museum is open five days a week, is free of charge and handicapped accessible. Art education programs at the GMoA include:
• Visual Arts Academy - a program for 5-8th grade students
• Adult Education Classes with Gail Ritzer
• Art Outreach programs including with the Pitt County Councils on Aging and the Boys and Girls Club
• Guided tours for the public
• Artist talks and lectures

Greenville Kids Dental provides high-quality dental care for children in a fun, welcoming, and family-friendly environment, regardless of family income. They accept most insurance plans, including NC Medicaid, to help make dental care accessible and affordable for families. They are currently accepting new patients ages 0–18 years old!

The Halloweeni ARTini is the most frighteningly fun night of the year at the Greenville Museum of Art! Join us on Friday, October 16 from 7 - 10 PM for an 18+ night filled with Halloween Haunts and creative costumes!

Halloweeni ARTini tickets are $10 for non-members and $5 for GMoA Members and include:

🎃Surprise Art Activities

We will also be selling drink tickets for our specialty cocktails, mocktails, and more, all crafted by ! The will be on-site for your dining needs!

H2O26 opens today! Make sure to come see this amazing show featuring many talented artists and researchers. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, October 2 from 5-8pm during Downtown Greenville’s First Friday Artwalk.

H2O26 is an exhibition that examines perspectives on our relationship with water. Through the works of over 20 artists, H2O26 considers how we engage with everyday sources of water, including oceans, rivers, lakes, and beyond. The invited artists and researchers will explore the exhibition theme through various artistic mediums, artifacts, and rescued materials.

🎨October is Art-tober at the Greenville Museum of Art! Every Wednesday, we will have a new child-friendly free Art-tober art kit available at the front desk. Supplies are limited, so make sure to get here early!
💧H2O26 Opening Reception - Join us for the opening reception of GMoA's newest exhibition, H2O26, on Friday, October 2nd, from 5-8 PM. We will have refreshments, poetry readings, and a chance to meet some of the artists!
🍁Fall Sidewalk Sale - Celebrate local artists and makers at the Fall Sidewalk Sale! Taking place in the GMoA parking lot, there will be vendors on-site selling their creations. We will also have an exciting exhibition-themed program happening during the Sidewalk Sale!

🎃Halloweeni Jamboreeni - Join us for GMoA's largest annual community event on Sunday, October 25th, from 12- 4 pm! Celebrate the season with a FREE event as we transform the GMoA into a (kid-friendly) Halloween festival! With activities inside and outside the museum, there is something for everyone! From critter encounters, dog and cat adoptions, to dance performances and tutorials, robust trunk-or-treat, carnival-style games, bounce houses, and SO MUCH MORE!

The Greenville Museum of Art’s Halloweeni Artini returns this year on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 7 - 10 PM! Guests are encouraged to wear their best Halloween costume and join us for a 21+ cocktail party with featured drinks, raffle prizes, festive decor, a costume contest, performances, and more! A food truck will be on-site selling food for your dining needs!🍸

Tickets are $5 for GMoA Members and $10 for Non-Members

We are excited to introduce the Greenville Museum of Art 2026-2027 program and event passport! In your event passport, you will find every GMoA event for the 2026-27 year, the date and times for each event, and any associated ticket costs.

Each event you attend will be stamped with a special GMoA stamp, earning you a matte vinyl event-specific sticker. Attend events throughout the year, get your passport stamped, and redeem it for GMoA goodies at the end of the year!

Prizes are earned on a tier system, and stamps are offered for all listed events and programs, whether they are ticketed or free! Passports can be purchased at the front desk for $5.
