Our own Stephen White’s niece, poet Terri Kirby Erickson, the author of six collections of award-winning poetry (each of which features one of her uncle’s paintings on the cover), was so moved by (another of our artists!) Abby Warman’s “The Red Ribbon,” that she wrote a poem inspired by it entitled, “Girl with a Red Ribbon.” Her poem was recently published by ONE ART: a journal of poetry.
