The Historical Society of Decatur County Museum will be open before and during the parade. We will close as soon as the parade is over so that everyone can make their way to the west side of the Courthouse for the big Community Photo. The Museum will reopen at about 11:15 and stay open until 1 pm.

Stop by the Greensburg Public Library to see the America 250 Revolutionary Lantern. The Lantern will be at the Library today, Monday - Wednesday 2 pm.

The Greensburg Decatur County Public Library is excited to host "The Great War: From Ration Lines to the Front Lines," an exhibit from the Indiana Historical Society, running from May 5 through June 3, 2026.

The exhibit explores the roots of World War I, America's entrance into the war, Indiana's participation in and contributions to the war effort, as well as the war's legacy in Indiana.

Visitors will also have the chance to view artifacts from WWI and photographs of our local soldiers courtesy of the Historical Society of Decatur County Greensburg.

This special exhibit will be open during our library's normal business hours.

The Historical Society has a free Youth Membership and offers Youth History Camp on the second Saturday of each month. Camp sessions are from 9am-11am, open to 1st-6th graders, and cost $5 per session.
