Last week, Art on the Square Gallery was proud to attend the Arts & Culture Showcase and share a glimpse of the creativity that makes our gallery so special 🎨✨

Guests enjoyed live demonstrations from Hank and Sue Martin, who demonstrated the art of gyotaku (Japanese fish printing), and Nancy Derheimer, who showed the beautiful process of batik. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, talk about the gallery, and share excitement for all of our upcoming events.

We are just under halfway to our goal of adding art to the ramps at the skate park. The campaign is eligible for a matching grant from Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority’s CreatINg Places program, but only if the goal is met. We need YOUR help to crowdfund $10,000!

Curious what these tiny artworks are all about? Now’s your chance to find out and make some of your own! Join us for a fun, hands-on class where you’ll learn how to create and trade these 3.5 x 2.5 inch pieces that artists share all over the world.

No experience needed, all supplies included, just bring your creativity and drop in or register ahead of time! $2 per card
