The Historic First Presbyterian Church Cemetery next to the museum contains the graves of many prominent early Greensboro residents, including Gov. John Motley Morehead.

Drop in anytime 11-3 Fri. 7/8 or 11-1 Sat. 7/9 for a free tour to learn about the history of the cemetery!

It seems the cemetery is closed at this time. If you can sweet talk one of the ladies in the museum, they might let you out there. How sad that the city and the church have dropped the ball here.

Don’t blame it Covid. This has been going on for years.

A wonderful renovation followed by benign neglect.
