Lightbulbs! It has been a while since I have participated in a show, this year I will be having fun at the day school fundraiser at St. Francis Episcopal church in Greensboro.

What do I do when I am not painting Easter eggs? It took over a year to make this quilt but it was worth every minute, my form of meditation. The pattern is Tumbling Blocks.

If you know me and my family, you know we are toy and game crazy. Could be legos, could be stuffed animals, Star Wars, Harry Potter, jigsaw puzzles! One of my personal favorites is Warmies! When I came home from the hospital Larry brought me a Warmie, a cute dog Spivey has named Ollie. When I had to sleep in a certain position I could wrap myself around my warmed Ollie, he kept me in position, he warmed me, and the lavender scent was relaxing. If you have an adult friend and you are looking for a gift, I would say a Warmie would be perfect-can be good for children, too. You can find Warmies at Toys & Co. in Greensboro and Lavish in Lexington!
