The IAC is excited to announce that twelve Indiana artists have received micro-support grants through the Work in Progress Exchange Lab program. Artist award applications were evaluated based on artistic vision, project management, and career development.

Congratulations to Aaron Leif Nicholson, Carl James Johnson, Connie Wagner, Putnam County’s Jennifer Johnson, Joshua “Zach” Evans, Katie Wood, Laura Foster Nicholson, Lavinia Hale, Mary Ann Michna, Phoebe Scott, Rachel L. Curtis, and Rebecca Bailey.

WIP Exchange Labs are free artist convenings developed to connect local artists, exchange strategies and resources, and discuss projects. Artists who participate are eligible to apply for Micro-Support Grants.

Interesting video.....posted in fond remembrance of Mace Wright who was the stagecoach driver who dumped out Martin Van Buren in the mud hole in Plainfield to show him the bad condition of the National Road. Several years later, Mace hung himself at a farm on Manhattan Road for unknown reasons.
