2026-2027 WMRRC Open House dates are finally here!!

The Waynesboro Model Railroad is excited to announce our dates for this year!

September 19, 2026: Come out and see our layouts as we take part in Mainline Hobby Supply’s Layout Tours. 🚂

October 24, 2026: NEW! We will be opening our doors to the public for Halloween! See our trains and layouts operating in the dark! Also, we will be giving away Halloween candy to visitors! 🎃

December 2026 to January 2027: Our classic yearly tradition continues as we will open our doors to the public for the holiday season! Bring the family to relive the classic holiday tradition of model trains. Also, we will be hosting a prize giveaway! ⛄️

Admission is FREE to the public and donations are welcomed!

We hope to see you this year at the “Home of the Waynecastle Central!”

Yesterday, a couple of our club members took the trip up to Lebanon, Pennsylvania to see Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 make its whistle stop.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our bonus open house weekend! We cannot thank you enough for your support!

We will be back in September for Mainline Hobby Supply’s Layout Tours.

As for now, we look forward to making changes and preparations for next season.

BONUS OPEN HOUSE WEEKEND!

The Waynesboro Model Railroad Club will be open for one more weekend! We will open our doors on February 21-22 due to our final open house weekend being impacted by the winter weather.

The club will be open from 12-4 PM.

The Waynesboro Model Railroad Club will be CLOSED today, January 25 due to the winter weather. 🌨️❄️

With today’s event being cancelled, it officially marks the end of our 2025-2026 Holiday Open House season. We cannot thank everyone enough for visiting our club this season! Your support and donations mean a lot to us and ultimately helps us keep going!

🚨*NOTE*🚨 Raffle winners will be drawn and contacted this week. 🎟️ Also, be on the lookout for any potential bonus open house dates! 👀

Tomorrow! Our final weekend of open house events! Join us on January 24 and January 25 at 12 PM to 4 PM. This is the last chance to check out our layouts, along with entering in our raffles until next winter!

*NOTE* We will be keeping a close eye on the winter weather that is expected to hit this weekend. We will make an announcement to cancel any event due to the weather conditions*
