Join us for Dairy Days, included in this weekend's admission to Wade House Historic Site!

On June 6 & 7, Wade House will be celebrating the history of dairy in Wisconsin. Watch costumed interpreters demonstrate the historical way of making dairy products and sample them for yourself. This is a tasty weekend that you won't want to miss!

Wade House will kick off its opening weekend with a Stagecoach Saturday on May 23, 2026. Join us for a 30-minute ride on the scenic trails of our 240-acre historic site as we welcome our friends and neighbors back for another season.

- Class fees
- Entry into the CT and Pleasure Show
- Stall rental w/ shavings
- Golf cart rental
- Ticket to the competitor's dinner

Wade House is hiring Front Desk Associates!
This is a part time position with flexible hours.

Front Desk Associates are responsible for the daily reception of customers and groups to the Wade House Historic Site. They provide excellent customer service, navigate the point-of-sale system, and help coordinate and restock gift shop items. They introduce guests to the site, give instructions for the various site activities, and provide directions.

Wade House is hiring tour guides!
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

The site offers guided tours from May – early November with special events throughout the year. The domestic interpreter/tour guide is responsible for the daily guest experience at the 1850s Wade House Stagecoach Inn and interpretation of the history of the Wade family and the Wade House Historic Site. Duties will include interactions with a diverse array of guests, leading house tours, caring for the site animals including the chickens and sheep, and using the wood burning stove for demonstrations. All tour guides are provided with 1850s clothing to wear as a domestic interpreter.
