Hello, fellow creatives! CALL FOR WORK...SEE BELOW
It's time for one of our favorite annual events and we have combined our peace and love theme with an emphasis on diversity this year, as part of the Grayson Gallery's celebration of Black History Month.
Please, mark your calendars for the OPENING CELEBRATION, set for 6pm to 9pm on February 23, 2024 and join us for a special performance of "The Lady & the Empress" by Doris Fields aka Lady D; West Virginia's "...first lady of soul"! This will be her personal theater interpretation of the life and music career of the late, great Blues legend, Bessie Smith, and will include accompanying musicians. Help spread the word and bring family & friends (it's all FREE, with donations at the door encouraged).
SUBMISSION INFO:
Artwork (up to three pieces per artist unless prior approval) may be dropped off on TWO dates:
Saturday, February 17th and again on Monday the 19th each day from 10am to 2pm. Pieces must be wired and ready to hang (unless otherwise noted or approved) with the artist name, title, medium and price (or marked NFS) on a tag or simply written on the back and as you can for 3D works.
There is NO entry fee! However, we do ask for a 20% commission for $OLD pieces.
A registration form is available (email: [email protected]) and may be printed and completed prior to coming; also available in-house.
Be sure to watch for my Facebook posts as well as the Event page and your email invitation. THANKS, we sure couldn't do any of this without YOUR support!
