While frantically getting ready, Brooke and her husband discover that the hired help is coincidentally the boss‘ ex-daughter-in-law. Just when it seems everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, Brooke’s boss has an unfortunate announcement to make – though not as unfortunate as the candlestick attack, appetizer toss and general chaos that then ensues.

What a night with Djangophonique!

A captivated crowd spent Saturday evening immersed in the remarkable musicianship and captivating sounds of jazz manouche. We’ve received an abundance of positive feedback, but a few comments really stuck with us.

“Their music transported me.”

“How refreshing their music was.”

And my personal favorite came from someone sitting in the front row, practically begging for an encore: “Grayling is deprived give us more.”

We couldn’t agree more! Nights like these remind us why bringing exceptional live music to our community matters so much. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a memorable evening.

And a special thank you to Djangophonique for sharing your incredible talent with us.

We spent the morning with the 4th grade students at Grayling Elementary as part of our ongoing partnership through Art in a Day, a program dedicated to bringing more art into the classroom!

Throughout the year, we work with students to explore different art mediums, get creative, and discover new ways to express themselves. We wrap up the year with a special field trip to both AuSable Artisan Village galleries!

Keeping kids engaged in the arts is so important, especially at this age. We love being part of their creative journey and helping inspire the next generation of artists right here in our community!

Here’s a little peek at our Board Retreat gathering!

We put together a special event for our dedicated Board of Directors and their significant others to step away from the monthly meetings, enjoy each other’s company, and share a delicious farm-to-table spread prepared by Chef Stewart of The Wicked Radish.

In the busyness of running an organization, it’s important to slow down, connect, and appreciate the incredible people who give so much of their time and energy to making the AuSable Artisan Village what it is today. We’re grateful for this amazing group and the support of those who stand beside them as we continue to grow and support the arts in our community!
