To everyone who visited Waterloo Farm Museum & Dewey School Museum this year, thank you for spending your day with us and supporting local history!

We’re especially grateful to our volunteers, demonstrators, vendors, entertainers, sponsors, and community partners. From preparing the grounds and welcoming guests to sharing traditional skills and cleaning up afterward, your hard work made this special day possible.

Pioneer Day is a tradition carried forward by our community, and we’re proud to have you as part of it. Your support helps preserve our historic buildings, sustain our education programs, and keep history alive for generations to come.

🍂 Waterloo Farm Museum is ready for Pioneer Day!

Join us tomorrow, Sunday, October 11, from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and check out our Victorian Mourning Exhibit in the farmhouse for a fascinating look at 19th-century funeral customs and traditions.

A big thank you to Staffan-Mitchell and Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Homes for allowing us to display their historical artifacts and helping bring this special exhibit to life!

Enjoy historical demonstrations, live entertainment, traditional crafts, delicious food, and family fun.

We look forward to seeing you!
