Spruce Forest Artisan Village offers people a view into the world of handmade arts. Each artist is a full time craftsman who excels in their field of expertise. The artist village is adjacent to Penn Alps Restaurant, just off of Rt 40 in Grantsville, MD. Within walking distance to the village is the historic Casselman River Bridge park.

It is amazing that expert bird carver Gary Yoder can still find new techniques to experiment with. This bird is an attempt to create a realistic look without carving the feathers and only using paint. Remember to stop in the village this week and see what's happening!
